2006 ART Tuning GTR 620

The GTR is a super sports car from ART on the basis of a Mercedes CLS55/63 AMG. The developers from ART in Nuremberg, Germany succeeded in launching the GTR into the segment of top-class sports cars. Comprehensive, tightly focussed upgrades transformed the basis CLS55/63 AMG into a meaty sports tool with brilliant performance. At the same time its appearance displays an air of diplomatic elegance, without drifting into the harsh design lines of its class competitors. The GTR is a shift into a higher level for the 4-door CLS coupé from Mercedes-Benz concerning performance, exterior and interior.

The GTR 620 is the more powerful version of two cars available from ART. The GTR 620 has a power increase to 620 hp/657 lb-ft and can accelerate from 0-100km/h in 4.0 seconds.

• 4 link front suspension and multi-link independent rear suspension with a track widening of front/rear 70 and 80mm, an electronically adjusted and lowered, height adjustable
• Semi-active air suspension with torsion bar stabilizer

• Wheel stars on request painted in the color of the GTR Body

2007 ART Tuning GTR 374

The new super sports car from ART for the European market on the basis CLS 350 is ready for take off. It covers all wishes concerning a hotblooded sports car of formidable performance and subtle, elegant design in coup manner. Unique star that leaves nothing to be desired.

The developers from ART in Nuremberg, Germany succeeded in launching the GTR 374 into the segment of top-class sports cars for the European market. Comprehensive, tightly focussed upgrades transformed the basis CLS 350 into a meaty sports tool with brilliant performance. At the same time its appearance displays an air of diplomatic elegance, without drifting into the harsh design lines of its class competitors.

A shift into a higher level for the 4-door CLS coup from Mercedes-Benz concerning performance, exterior and interior. During the MotorShow Essen in December 2006 the refined sports vehicle as shown above has its first introduction to the public. During 3 month extended roadshow the vehicle will be presented on the premises of the most successful Mercedes-Benz dealers in germany.

2008 Ariel Atom 500 V8

For 2008 Ariel announced the latest version of the Atom - the Ariel Atom 500, powered by a small V8 engine. With over 500bhp in a 500kilo package the Atom 500 will boast one of the highest power to weight ratios ever for a production car, ever. At over 1000bhp per tonne the Atom 500 will be the ultimate statement in performance and is destined to be made in a limited edition.

The V8 powered Atom is the first of some exciting developments from Ariel due to be released though 2008 and builds on the growing reputation that the company has for putting the passion back into driving and producing cars that are fun to drive as well as fast both on and off the track.

The 500 started life as a one off special project with RS Developments in 2007 and features the Russell Savory designed 2.4 litre V8 engine coupled to a 6 speed sequential Sadev gearbox. Developing over 500bhp at 10,000rpm the supercharged engine features all alloy construction, 5 valves per cylinder and a dry sump. The gearbox will have flatshift capability, a paddle gearchange with manual override as well as launch and traction controls.

Recognisable by the twin rear intakes for intercoolers the Atom 500 will feature a unique colour scheme for chassis, wheels and bodywork combined with carbon fibre panels and carbon fibre aerofoils. Other features will include chromemoly aerofoil wishbones, integrated function steering wheel, Alcon 4 pot caliper brakes and Dymag magnesium wheels.

Said Simon Saunders, Director of Ariel, “This is an interesting project for us and an experimental departure from what we normally produce. For a few customers the Atom 500 will be the ultimate expression of lightweight performance and represents the outer limits of what is achievable in a road registered car. We also use this sort of project to explore the possibilities of how we can improve our standard cars. The Honda engined production cars already combine all the elements that we want in an Atom and by pushing the envelope to these sorts of extremes we can further improve the breed”.

The Atom 500 will be produced in Somerset at the new Ariel factory with the first car available from Spring this year. Prices have not yet been finalised but Ariel’s commitment to performance for value will ensure that the Atom 500 is competitive in cost as well as performance.

With the standard Atom 300 already achieving sub 3 second times to 60mph and sub 7 second times to 100mph, the 500 will take this one stage further with record breaking production car possibilities.

2001 Abflug Supra S900

The S900 kit for the Supra includes several modifications to the exterior including a front bumper and spot light kit, front over fender kit, door panel, side skirts, rear spoiler, rear over fender kit, rear bumper spoiler, door mirror, carbon inner fender kit, carbon rectify fin for FBS, carbon rear under diffuser, head light eyeline, and cooling bonnet and pin.

The engine is a 3.1 liter fully tuned 2JZ engine with an HKS T51R Kai turbo, managed by Abflug computer fuel managing system. Other modifications include a titanium exhuast system, an Abflug special suspension system featuring HKS, and original Abflug wheels and Pirelli tires.

2004 A&L Racing S2000

Import Drag Racing legend Adam Saruwatari and his A&L Racing team joined with Honda Factory Performance and key aftermarket partners to produce this great-looking S2000. Under the hood, performance is enhanced through the addition of a Comptech supercharger, a Comptech liquid to air charge air cooler and a custom Modula stainless steel exhaust. Components from Koni, Eibach, Comptech and Brembo beef up the suspension. Exterior modifications are highlighted by a Honda Factory Performance rear wing with Intense Motorsports carbon fiber treatment, while inside, Sparco seats, a Sparco steering wheel and Honda Factory Performance shift knob give the S2000 a high performance edge.
